We never show your email or phone on the public map. Exact addresses are never displayed — only rounded coordinates (~100m precision).
When you drop a rent pin, we store rent details and a rounded map location (~100m precision). Email is optional for rent pins and used only to send you a private delete link — it is never shown on the public map.
For listings and seeker pins, phone is required for matching. Email is optional but needed to receive match notifications by email. Contact details are stored privately and shared with matched parties only via email — never displayed on the map.
We hash IP addresses server-side for rate limiting, spam prevention, and duplicate detection. We do not store raw IP addresses in queryable form.
Exact GPS coordinates you submit are stored internally but only rounded public coordinates (~100m) appear on the map. This protects your privacy while keeping neighbourhood-level accuracy.
Email and phone numbers are shared between matched seekers and listers only after our daily matching process confirms compatibility. You consent to this sharing when you submit a listing or seeker pin.
Rent pin creators receive a delete link by email (if provided). You can also request deletion of any data by emailing hi@dilli.rent.
Your browser stores intro-dismissal state, owner tokens for your pins, saved filters, and map position. This data stays on your device.
